The 'Director Sentiment Monitor Q1 2021' details research on how a majority of IoD members sees the final quarter of the year as the most likely period when the economy can fully reopen and a majority of their staff can return to the company workplace. They also believe that a continuing slow rollout of the COVID-19 vaccination programme is the biggest risk to their organisations, but a clear majority is of the belief that employers should continue to follow the Government’s advice with regard to working from home for all non-essential staff. The research also contains findings in relation to Ireland’s post-Brexit relationship with the UK.
