Read IoD Ireland's formal submission to the National Cyber Security Strategy 2019-2024 Mid-Term Review Consultation. This submission addressed the skills area of the consultation, and raised the importance of board cyber security training and planning. The basis of the submission was based on new IoD Ireland research on the area of cyber security.
A cyber security attack can have a negative impact on an organisation’s reputation, finances, and operational resilience. It is crucial that the governance of cyber security evolve in line with the sophistication of the threat landscape, along with the introduction of necessary cyber security protection legislation and regulation measures.
