IoD Ireland representatives were invited to appear before the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Employment for a discussion on the Corporate Sustainability and Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), on Wednesday, 7th December 2022.
The IoD representatives included: Caroline Spillane CDir, Chief Executive Officer, IoD Ireland; Karen Hennessy CDir, IoD Ireland Member, and Chief Executive, Real Leaf Farm; and Anne Mannion, Head of Marketing and Communications, IoD Ireland.
One of the key IoD asks was for the Government and Department to provide further information and detail to directors and business leaders. IoD Ireland will continue to engage with the Department to promote the need for further detail on this area.
