The IoD Ireland Spring Lunch was held earlier today at the InterContinental Dublin Hotel today. Guest Speaker Michael McGrath TD, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, addressed a number of key issues of national and international importance. These issues included the war in Ukraine and its consequences, inflation, the public expenditure cost to date of the COVID-19 pandemic, housing, health, education, employment, and the National Development Plan.
Minister McGrath also commended the work of the IoD and, its strong values as an organisation, highlighting its similarity with public service in promoting professionalism, honesty and openness. The Minister also lauded the Chartered Director Programme, and made special mention of outgoing IoD Chief Executive, Maura Quinn, who leaves her post in June.
The IoD Ireland Spring Lunch was sponsored by Presidio.
