Over 450 of the most senior board directors and business leaders in Ireland were at attendance at the IoD Ireland Christmas Lunch. The lunch took place on Friday, 6th December.
The booked-out event is a highlight of the festive season for Ireland’s top business leaders and directors. Providing unparalleled opportunities to network with peers in a celebratory atmosphere. Entertainment at the event was provided by illusionist, brain hacker and mentalist Keith Barry.
The event was opened by IoD Ireland CEO Caroline Spillane CDir who welcomed guests to the event, thanking members for their valuable support and input throughout 2024. In his address John Reynolds CDir, President, IoD Ireland, took the opportunity to acknowledge how IoD Ireland has evolved to meet members' needs through research, policy work, new learning opportunities, and thought leadership events in 2024. This included important collaborative work on the Creative Boardroom: Collaborate4Climate project with IoD Northern Ireland and the Creative Futures Academy. In his address, the President also acknowledged the role of the Council and Executive in shaping IoD Ireland, as well as thanking members, and past colleagues. He looked forward to 2025, commenting that IoD Ireland remains committed to advancing corporate governance and shaping resilient, visionary boards in Ireland.
